Speaker(s) : Peter Deadman has worked in the field of health promotion for nearly 50 years. He began by co-founding Infinity Foods (natural and organic shop, distribution warehouse and bakery) in Brighton in 1970, followed by the Brighton Natural Health Centre - an educational charity teaching the local community ways to be well and happy through yoga, meditation, tai chi, qigong, dance and more. He qualified as an acupuncturist in 1978 and practised acupuncture and then Chinese herbal medicine for over 30 years. He is the founder and publisher of The Journal of Chinese Medicine, co-author of the best-selling textbook A Manual of Acupuncture, and author of Live Well Live Long: Teachings from the Chinese Nourishment of life Tradition. Peter has lectured on Chinese health traditions all over the world and has practised and taught qigong for nearly 30 years.

The weekend is open to everyone with an interest in health and wellbeing, suitable both for beginners and advanced practitioners of qigong, however a moderate level of fitness is recommended.
